Carl "Mr 1500"
Check out Mr 1500's website hereCarl, who writes as Mr 1500, is on a mission to encourage and inspire others to abandon their consumer, spendaholic ways in favor of a more fulfilling existence. Carl says, "I've seen what life is like on the other side. I've lived in a massive home and purchased new cars. These things provide short-term happiness but often have the opposite effect long-term. I realized that I was working at a job that I didn't like to support a life of paying for disposable nonsense." About early retirement, Carl says "FIRE is a worthy goal, but remember that the true objective isn't to quit work but to live life on your own terms. When I'm 90, I want to look back on my life and know that I lived well."
